Springtime Fun

A yoga friend has just had a baby girl & this is what I made for her.

Inspired by springtime & fun to make!

  1. This quilt looks like it was a lot of fun..Your friend is going to love it. So whimsy and funky!

  2. Oh that is so lovely- Spring has sprung indeed.

  3. Some of my kids' most treasured possessions are their baby blankets. Love that.

  4. lovely blanket. I think she is lucky to receive such a wonderful handmade.

  5. Hello, Sally.
What a lovely blanket you made for your friend's baby!! I am sure she is going to love it. Girls like this colorful and pretty patterns and so does my grand daughter.

Sally, I have known through your former post that you have practiced yoga so long. That is great. I have enjoyed Thai-chi for 5 years for my health.

  6. Thanks everyone. I was reluctant to post these pics, because sewing is not my strong suit, but I do enjoy playing with fabric & color.

Sujata, I have such admiration for real quilters like you, & appreciate your sweet comments regarding my crude attempt. You are right though it was fun to do!

Thanks also Ren, Paulita, & coco for your kind words. You are all too sweet!

Tomoko, thank you too & yes I have practiced yoga for about 10 years or more. Like you, I do it for health. I tried Thai-chi this year & liked it very much. But unfortunately my teacher had to leave so I could not continue.

  7. That is adorable!! She will cherish it!
