Not much is happening here at my house. On the table is an old enamel coffee pot without a top that I recently bought at a vide grenier. The little enamel bowl is new but was also found at the vide grenier. It was made in China I believe. A vide grenier is a yard sale, & literally means "empty the attic". The petunias are from my little flower bed in front of the house.
I found this chair in the trash in Paris many years ago. I don't mind that the seat is a bit broken.
This is what I am reading at the moment.
I am having fun playing around with the app snapseed. The small lemons are from Spain & make delicious lemonade.
What's happening at your house?
I love that coffee pot! What a great find. That book looks interesting. I'm happy to see that you're having a wonderful and relaxed time in France :)
ReplyDeleteI'm having another final coming up this Saturday so there isn't too much more than working and studying going on at my house ;)
I love you chair and your little coffee pot.
ReplyDeleteAround here there has been lots of berry picking, trips to the shore and just trying to stay cool. As you know summers in the deep south are not for the weak :)
Lovely Petunias and that coffee pot too. I'm impressed by the lemon still life, must check out that app.
ReplyDeleteWe are off to another Brocantes/ Vides Greniers. I'm trying to get the lawn mower going, bit windy here. Have a great weekend Sally.
Oh.. the coffee pot is sweet!
ReplyDeleteIts getting to be another hot summer here. Nothing much going on right now in my neck of the woods.
Lovely coffee pot and bowl Sally. I don't even know what's happening at one house because I haven't been home for a while, but now I know what's happening at the other house because I'm here! The roses are blooming, Robert managed to over-winter the geraniums (much to both of our surprise) and the wild strawberries have really taken off. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm loving your house! Especially that green wall! At my house -- not much! We just finished a wedding, going to another out of town and now I'm getting my art supplies and other things packed to head to the lake house for a couple of weeks. And for that, I can't wait!
