  3. I love the orange door too. And the pumpkins. All the photos make me long for France again (and I only left yesterday...)

  4. A lovely selection of random shots. But why is it relatively easy to take this kind of photo when on holiday but so difficult in ones home country - well, that's what I always find.

  7. Sally, not sure you keep tracks of replies to your comments on other blogs. on VVb32 reads, you said you were looking for easy book in French.
so I wrote this: Sally, for easy books in French, I recommend https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4318.Monsieur_Ibrahim_and_The_Flowers_of_the_Qur_an or other books by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, short, easy and superb. plus you may have seen the movie.
emma at wordsandpeace dot com and france book tours dot com. your paintings are beautiful! I am also an artist, painting exclusively on rocks. in what region is your little French village you go to?? just curious. I am from Burgundy

  9. Thanks for your comment on my blog, Sally. I see by your profile that you're from Charleston, SC. My daughter-in-law is from SC and I've visited Charleston once...gorgeous city! The pumpkin soup was yummy! Maybe our paths will cross next summer when you come to France? BTW...I adore living here!
