I love that I can leave my back door open.
I love the many color combinations of Charleston homes.
I love that this tiny cottage has a fan on the front porch.
I love how flowers seem to pop up everywhere….
….& how these chairs are a part of an over grown garden.
I also love the old & forlorn…
…the abandoned & forgotten…
… & the patina of peeling paint.
I find beauty in it all.
Perfect for me too!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Although I really wish it was cooler.

Hi,Sally,
ReplyDeleteEvery photo makes me smile. Beautiful combination of colors! Lovely to see the copper pot on the white wall! I like it.
these pictures make me smile. it looks like a very beautiful day
ReplyDeleteThere is indeed beauty in it all - the colours, light, fresh air, textures and the play of life and time.
ReplyDelete...and your eyes to see!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think Charleston is just about as good as France -- maybe even better (but that's a lot to ask!) Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeletecouldn't agree more. we would have a ball, walking together! n♥
ReplyDeleteLeaving the door open makes such a difference in my house too. I hate that the weather is driving me to close it. The colorful shutters in Charleston remind me of Provence.
ReplyDeletesuch a great photo tour! Sally- makes me want to visit :)
ReplyDeleteThe view from your back door is totally dreamy:) Have a lovely day, dear.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this post.
ReplyDeleteYour sunny house, the first image. Can I live there?? ;)
I've wanted, for years and years, to visit the Carolina's. But, especially NC, the Appalachians. The front porch music, the hilly roads, the trees!!
It's on my list.
But, your town is charming.
