Happy


I love that I can leave my back door open.


I love the many color combinations of Charleston homes.


I love that this tiny cottage has a fan on the front porch.


I love how flowers seem to pop up everywhere….


….& how these chairs are a part of an over grown garden.


 I also love the old & forlorn…


…the abandoned & forgotten…


 … & the patina of peeling paint.


I find beauty in it all.

    Leaving the door open makes such a difference in my house too. I hate that the weather is driving me to close it. The colorful shutters in Charleston remind me of Provence.

    I love everything about this post.
    Your sunny house, the first image. Can I live there?? ;)
    I've wanted, for years and years, to visit the Carolina's. But, especially NC, the Appalachians. The front porch music, the hilly roads, the trees!!
    It's on my list.
    But, your town is charming.
