This being Valentines week & all, I thought I would express my love of France with a few hearts.
I love how so many of the houses from the middle ages in France are decorated with them.
When in France, I never tire of looking for hearts. On doors or windows, elegant or rustic, up or down, I always keep my eyes open. Whether, a child's happy drawing or heart shaped confetti this symbol of love always makes me smile.
A heart felt wish for a very happy week to each & everyone.
I'm always finding hearts too. Love the ones you found.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, it is fun. Isn't it? Like a little treasure hunt for hearts.
DeleteLove these amazing old handles and locks.....it's wonderful that so many are still in use.

DeleteIt's funny I never noticed that! Now, I'll be attentive :)
ReplyDeleteYes do look for them & let me know if you find any. Maybe the practice was only in my area of France (SW). I don't know.
DeleteHow lovely these hearts are! And your photos are equally lovely, Sally. I must get my Valentine in Paris post up! And soon -- time is running out!
