Update from Emily

A few weeks ago my granddaughter, Emily, did me the honor of being my Guest Blogger. She took this job very seriously & had a lot of fun in the process. We had hoped that she would have the chance to post another blog, but she is now, well into the spring sports season & no longer spends her half-day on Wednesdays with me.
She has asked me to thank all of the people, who left her comments.
She was so thrilled by the response she received.
It was a great learning experience for her. She looked at all of your blogs & marveled at all of the countries that you come from, Japan, France, Australia, Greece to name a few, as well as all over the United States.
She even had a surprise comment from one of her cousins.
Emily said to me,
" Nanny, now I understand why you are so addicted to blogging, everybody is SO nice!"
She is right of course.

So... thank you from Emily.....

....& from me too! I truly appreciate the kindness of everyone, that I have had the pleasure of meeting in this amazing world of blogging.

  1. Hi,Sally.
I am so glad to see your lovely granddaughter Emily too. She is a beautiful girl, and I am sure she is going to be a lovely lady like her grandmother, you.
I really envy you Sally. You are close to Emily. Our granddaughter lives in Tokyo. We do not have chances to see so much!!
Have a nice day,Sally and Emily!

  2. Emily is adorable and maybe she'll grow up to write a blog like her grandmother. I love that my daughter blogged when she was in Europe last fall.

  3. :-) Bonne journée à toi aussi Sally (et Emily, of course)! :-)

  4. Greetings to you and your lovely granddaughter Emily from Switzerland.
I wish you a nice week.

  5. how could we not encourage that young beautiful soul ? :)

  6. We are so lucky to have the blogosphere to bring the arts together. It is great to get to share with a new generation of artists. How wonderful that you can be a source of inspiration for your grand daughter. Emily is a young talented girl, and she is so lucky to have you in her life. :)
