The photo below was taken twenty years ago in France. I had to scan the old snapshot, to get a digital image. Last summer I happened to drive by that same little country church, still sitting alone in the same untouched field, but of course the poppies were not in bloom then.
I like to imagine that they are in bloom again now or that they will be very soon.
The rest of these photos I took last summer. I somehow thought, that they might speak to the celebrations of this weekend.
I hope, what ever you do, that it will be a happy one.
Happy springtime happy Easter!!
And to you, always love to look at France through your eyes, x
ReplyDeleteJoyeuses Pâques à toi aussi !
ReplyDeleteYou will return in France next summer?
J’aime la façon dont tu as choisi tes sujets pour nous parler du printemps. La simplicité m^me des scènes donne une belle humanité à cette série de photos, qui pour moi, me parle et me touche beaucoup.
ReplyDeleteMerci.

Very Easter-y pictures from France. Always happy to see photos from France. The poppies are gorgeous. I was just thinking about which seasons I have visited France. I've never been in January! Happy Easter or happy spring, whichever you celebrate.
