Hello, Sally. What a lovely blanket you made for your friend's baby!! I am sure she is going to love it. Girls like this colorful and pretty patterns and so does my grand daughter.
Sally, I have known through your former post that you have practiced yoga so long. That is great. I have enjoyed Thai-chi for 5 years for my health.
Thanks everyone. I was reluctant to post these pics, because sewing is not my strong suit, but I do enjoy playing with fabric & color.
Sujata, I have such admiration for real quilters like you, & appreciate your sweet comments regarding my crude attempt. You are right though it was fun to do!
Thanks also Ren, Paulita, & coco for your kind words. You are all too sweet!
Tomoko, thank you too & yes I have practiced yoga for about 10 years or more. Like you, I do it for health. I tried Thai-chi this year & liked it very much. But unfortunately my teacher had to leave so I could not continue.
Having recently relocated to Charleston SC, it seems that I am now all over the map. I have left my home & studio in Boston for warmer climates but will continue to visit often. Summers are always spent in a tiny village in the southwest of France. So I am indeed between here & there. I am happy to have you follow along.
Except where otherwise noted, all photographs & art work are mine. I appreciate your interest but, please, do not reproduce them without first asking. Thank you.
This quilt looks like it was a lot of fun..Your friend is going to love it. So whimsy and funky!
