Thoughts of Japan

The recent earthquake in Japan is heartbreaking.

One of my newest followers is  Redrose at Green Tomato. She is from  Nara City, Japan

These are her beautiful photographs of apricot blossoms.

I am reposting these lovely images & praying for her safety.

My thoughts are with all of the people of Japan & everyone that has been touched by this tragedy.

  3. Sally.
It was a sudden natural disaster, the earthquake off east coast line of Japan.
Nara, where I live, is located in the west Japan. I am safe. However, I used to live in the east of Japan for 25 years. I have many acquaintances and some close friends in the area. My son’s family, mother, brother and sister live in Tokyo. They have been suffered from the disasters. I have heard from my family and close friends that they were safe. However all the Japanese share our deep sorrow, grief. All the Japanese appreciate the help of your country and the other countries.
My English is not enough to express our sorrow and gratitude to you all. Thank you for your deep sympathy to the people of Japan.

  4. Dear Redrose, I am so relived to know that you are safe & that you have found your family & loved ones. I know that you suffer for all those in your country touched by these events. My thoughts continue to be with you & Japan at this time of sorrow & difficulty. No matter, what language one speaks, words are not adequate to express the deep feelings of sympathy we all feel.
    Namaste
( a Sanskrit word that can be translated this way:

I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One. )

  5. Thanks for visiting my blog Sally and the lovely comment. My sympathy goes out to the people of Japan too. My son lives in South Korea and so it hit home about how fragile that area of the world is. Beautiful but fragile.
